Yeah!! I wish I had followed her method years ago when I first got rid of my entire closet! 😩🤣 To be transparent, so do I! I actually took a break from trying to dress well and I've been rocking extremely simple outfits. I didn't even get any Spring/Summer clothes this year. Kind of doing a low-buy. I enjoy the analysis of style and everything that goes with it, but life is so full that I can't be that deep with it right now. 🤣❤️

Thank you! The only thing I want to change is the way my foundation/bronzer/blush looked. It was so patchy. I've been having a hard time with powder blush/bronzer lately. I just ordered a cheap Milani blush that I used to be in love with. I want to see if it's me or my products. 🫠 I also ordered a bronzer by RMS. 🤞🏻 Maybe I need to exfoliate? YES! I've never used a powder that smooths/blurs and melts like the Ami Cole. I used to be anti-powder until I bought it.

I'm with you! Before I knew what the 3 word method was, I listed my style values, which included aesthetics and actual usage. So for me, I like to mix and match, be comfortable, and keep the actual size of my wardrobe in check. I can build outfits better with minimal choices. As far as looks and how I want to feel, I have a bunch of words! Lol I think that helps me expand the possibility of my outfits. For example, my vacation wear and house wear are not going to have blazers. 🤣 And I can revisit and re-evaluate my style values as time goes on. I did have fun trying out the 3 word method and bought her book for an upcoming video. But I think having values in place for my wardrobe gives me more freedom with style. Thank you!! ❤️

I've been so slow between uploads these days! I'm glad you've stuck with me! 🤣❤️ Thank you! So it's a bright orange, but in this lighting it does look red. It's also very warm so it probably does lean to the red side of orange. I'm so glad I got it last year. It was between that and a black sleevless vest. I asked my husband and he said, "The orange!" I love that! A baseline outfit that can be transformed depending on the scenario. I've thought about that for a video! 1 base, 3 outfits (or something like that). I can relate to your style. I still love classic pieces and blazers. I think I'm going through an experimental phase. Lol But I still kind of have a template/uniform I lean on. It makes adding fun pieces easier. I say Spring is the perfect time to try color out! 😄🌷 I never thought I would enjoy having pink in my wardrobe. If someone were to ask me if I like pink, I would say no. 🤣🤣🤣 I guess Hot Pink is at least a little edgy. Thank you! All is very well, and I hope the same for you! ❤️

The first paragraph resonates with me so much! I've always felt so weird in just a T-shirt and jeans - just off in some way. But also, I would feel bad if someone perceived me as being "overdressed," so I would try to force myself to be more casual. So silly. Now I realize that when the pieces are elevated, I feel comfortable, even if it's a sweater and jeans. I love this insight into your style! It's fascinating to me how clothes and our personal style can go much deeper than just material covering our bodies. 🤣 And I'm with you on the heels! I'm so sorry you went through that! It's so shocking to be a woman and experience this. I'm starting to seek answers (I'm in the midst of having a hormone panel done). I realized I've actually had an increase of shedding for about 6 or 7 years. I thought it was normal because my hair was still beautiful then. 🤣 Oh, the grays! Mine have come in as well! They aren't too noticeable unless I'm in the sun. Lol But that's a great way to be - grateful to be here! I do have an itch to cut my hair and get a darker glaze to match my roots, but I would have to do the same thing to my topper. Thank you! I'm learning different ways to make it look more realistic. I'm actually having fun with it! 🥳

I completely understand! I told my husband I'm not doing all that for Christmas this year. I just like a touch of Christmas magic (the lights from the tree lol). I feel like I've been up and down with minimalism journey. I'm much better with my wardrobe now, but I need to make better purchases in other areas. Like the garland I bought last year - I fully regret it! 🙃

Yes! My Mom and sister go all out so I get to enjoy the extreme Christmas magic, too! 😆 I think I would like just a few vintage pieces (like ceramic trees) that I could keep forever and I've also thought getting real trees going forward. Little short ones. Lol

@@CaitlinH88 oh man, my hormones are a mess! Well, I guess I should say that I’m observing many changes that could be related to my hormones, but my docs tell me my hormones are at normal levels 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think my hair stuff could also be genetic. I never thought about it much but my mom does have thinning hair. Other than the hair topper, have you tried other solutions? I asked my derm about it but I’m hesitant to incorporate medication because of potential side effects.

@angelaa.9915 So, I started with checking my hormones and they all came back normal. I still have to do another test next month and then I thought about seeing a dermatologist to do a scalp biopsy. I had a hormone panel done about a year ago and it showed high testosterone so I started taking some supplements. I also started taking vitamin D but I was doing so much I'm not sure what helped and what didn't. Lol I do remember the shedding was less but I stopped everything so I can see what the doctor recommends after my next test.

I'm also hesitant and would prefer natural methods... I figured I would just see what they say.

@@CaitlinH88 mmm yeah I hear you on not being sure what’s truly moving the needle. I hope your doctor helps you find a solution or acceptance! I’ve been using the Nutrafol serum for a few months, but again, I can’t be certain that it’s making a measurable difference. I heard somewhere that hair has a cycle too, so it’s possible that when I’m thinking I’m seeing a visible difference, it could just be that my hair is in the “fuller” part of its cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aww! I've seen UA-camrs who wear wigs and if they never mentioned it, I wouldn't have known! Thanks for the encouragement. I definitely felt a little weird at times. I think I need to cut my hair and the topper. I was doing an experiment to see how long I could grow it, but it's looking dead. 🤣

@angelaa.9915 You should try it! I love writing but I've noticed that when I'm talking to the camera like this (or in the get ready with me style videos), things come out more naturally. I actually had to cut this video way down because it turned into a small therapy session. 🤣

Aww! I've never been one to rush out and buy every new makeup launch, but when that palette came out, it spoke to me! Having said that, I mostly use the brown, cream, and sandy shade. 🤣 Maybe she'll have another go down the road! 🤞🏻 Fun!! That's similar to how I do it. I use a light layer of foundation to even things out, then concealer for the parts that need more. For special events, I will mix a little bit of a heavier concealer like Tarte Shape Tape in. I like a glowy look and I don't like to powder, but I find that over time my natural oils can mix with my concealer and everything disappears. The Tarte Shape Tape is crazy full coverage, but dryer so it sets down like a powder on me. I'll do the same for areas I want the coverage to last longer. Then I'll lightly set everything with a powder. I'll also ease up on my illuminating cream blushes and go for something more matte. A beauty sponge can lift any excess product if you start to feel like you can see the makeup sitting on your skin. I think natural skin looks great with every look - even a smokey eye or bolder lip!

I tried it this morning and loved it! The only thing I would have changed on myself is the color blush. I only had a dusty rose like color and I wish I had something more like the apricot blush you used. Might have to look into purchasing it:)

Oh thank you! ❤️ I used to try and style it more but it doesn't tend to hold curl or even volume for very long. So now I usually just dry it with a big round brush. I think curtain bangs are coming this Fall. 😆
